Wings for Autism


Wings for Autism® is an airport rehearsal program designed specifically for individuals with autism or other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Families are given the opportunity to practice each step of air travel—including entering the airport, obtaining a boarding pass, going through TSA security, and boarding a real plane (which does not take off).

After deplaning, participants are invited to a small reception with light snacks and refreshments.

This event will be held on July 26, 2025, at Tampa International Airport and in partnership with Southwest Airlines.

Donations collected on this page will support this event and the many programs offered by The Arc Tampa Bay that support and empower individuals with unique abilities.
